1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DocuScannerPro mobile application (the "App") provided by WorldAppsHub ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. License to Use
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own lawful document-scanning purposes, subject to these Terms. We retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the App itself, including its software, design, and branding.
3. Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the documents you scan, import, store, and share using the App.
- You confirm you have the right to scan, reproduce, and store any content you process with the App.
- You will not use the App for any unlawful purpose or to reproduce material you are not authorized to use.
- You will not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its backend services.
4. Your Content and Ownership
You retain all rights to the documents you create with the App and the text extracted from them. We claim no ownership over your content. We process your content only to provide the App's features, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses trusted third-party services to function, including cloud hosting/storage and an AI text-recognition (OCR) provider. Your use of the App in connection with these services is also subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
6. Service Availability
Scanning and enhancement are designed to work on your device where possible. Cloud-dependent features such as OCR and sync require connectivity and may occasionally be unavailable, interrupted, or changed. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Scan enhancement and OCR accuracy can vary depending on the source document, lighting, and image quality. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that recognized text will be perfectly accurate.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WorldAppsHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the App.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access to cloud features if these Terms are violated or if necessary to protect the service or other users.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction in which WorldAppsHub operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have that cannot be waived under applicable law.
